A few updates that will start tomorrow:

  • We are NOW ready to add the 6th grade students to our Upper Car Rider Circle.  If you have 5th or 6th grade students in your vehicle, please use the right had side to go to the Upper Car Rider Line.  This is the same for the afternoon pick-up.  All vehicles will NEED to stop at the 3-Way stop in the back.  (We are still waiting on the white lines to be painted)

  • In the morning, the doors will open at 8:40am when HHMS staff are on supervision.  As always, 5th grade students will report straight to their classroom.  The 6th grade students will NEED to go directly to the gym.  They may NOT stop at their homeroom or locker.  Any vehicle that has 7th & 8th grade students will use the left lane which goes to the Lower Car Rider Line.   We appreciate all of your patience as we work through the process to get over 2000 people in our building safe and sound.

  • Again, this new addition will start 9/8/22.  We have almost 300 vehicles dropping off students in the morning.  Thank you for your patience as we work through the process!

  • You MUST obey the 3-way stop in the back where the two lines split.  We don’t want any fender benders.

  • Don’t release students from your vehicle until 8:40am in both the upper and lower car rider lines. This is for their safety.

  • If you arrive at HHMS at 9:00, you need to use the front entrance and walk your student in for a Tardy pass. (The back doors will be locked for safety reasons)

UPDATED for 9/8/22

We will NO LONGER use the front entrance for Car Riders.  This is for Buses and Staff Parking only.

  • The left-hand lane to use the Lower Car Rider Circle (for vehicles that have any 7th or 8th Grade students)

  • If you are dropping off or picking up a 5th or 6th Grade student along with students that are in 7th or 8th grade, you will use the Lower Car Rider Circle for all of the students. The Upper Circle is if you ONLY for 5th & 6th Grade at this time.

  • There will be a 3-Way Stop at the intersection for the two Car Rider Lanes.

  • Both lanes will exit using the side parking lot (orange below)
