This week is Red Ribbon “Week.  The theme this year is Send a Message – Be Drug Free. 

Tuesday is Don’t Get Mixed up in Drugs, Stay Drug Free!  Wear Mix and Match

Wednesday is Send a Message for All of HHMS to be Drug Free!  School Spirit Wear

Thursday is Stand up Against Drugs!  Dress up as a Super Hero

Friday is Live the Life of Your Dreams!  Pajama Day!

Any student that ordered and paid for pictures or add-ons, but did not get them, needs to have their picture retaken tomorrow.  Your guardian needs to contact Lifetouch @ 812-923-9080, choose option #2 and inform them of the missing pictures.  Any student that was absent on picture day needs to have their picture taken tomorrow.

If you are a 7th grade student and your parent/guardian plans to attend Finance Park with you, they must have a Criminal History Form on file. Those forms can be picked up in the front office and need to be turned in to Mrs. Kennedy by Wednesday, October 23rd. Please remind your parents to turn in their forms. If they have any questions they can reach out to Mrs. Kennedy.

Boys Cross Country Awards Banquet will be tonight at 6pm in the HHMS Cafeteria.

Tryouts for the FC Futures 6th grade boys’ basketball travel team will be October 22 at FC from 6-8 pm in the main gym.  All HHMS 6th grade boys are eligible to tryout.

The cheerleaders competed at Providence High School yesterday and got 2nd in their State Routine performance.  The cheerleaders will be having a showcase at Floyd Central on Wednesday at 6:30pm.  Come out and support your cheerleaders.

 There will be a parent meeting for 8th grade girls’ basketball tonight,  Oct. 21st at 7 pm in the commons area near the pool.

There will be a RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) planning meeting Wednesday, Oct. 23rd at 7:50 am in the conference room.  Please arrive at 7:50 and enter thru Door 1.  This is for committee students only.

If you want to meet new people, learn new skills and get in shape at the same time, come to Emerald cadet guard auditions!  It is open to boys and girls in grades 5-7.  Auditions are Monday Oct.  28th and Wednesday Oct. 30th from 4:00-5:30.  Meet outside the HHMS band room and bring workout clothes, tennis shoes and water.

You are invited to Candy & Career Night next Monday, October 28th from 5:30-7:00pm at Prosser Career Education Center.  Indoor trick or treating/ we want to share our candy and careers with you!
